I created this smoothie to soothe all tummy troubles – mint, ginger and chia are incredibly calming for the digestion system. Plus rocket, lime and cucumber are excellent detoxifiers and absolutely full of nutrients. So next time you’re feeling bloated, weighed down or just a bit under the weather, try my go-to De-Bloat Green Smoothie!
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 1/2 frozen banana, chopped
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 handful of spinach or rocket
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 3-4 mint leaves
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 3-4 ice cubes
Method
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
